ICE CASTLE – Shimmering lights illuminate Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom during the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. The Magic Kingdom icon is bathed in more than 200,000 tiny white lights that add a special sparkle to the season.
THROUGH THE WOODS: From Nov. 29-Dec. 30, 2009, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground at Walt Disney World is offering holiday sleigh rides through the secluded beauty of the 700-acre backwoods resort.
PIXIE HOLLOW'S LATEST RESIDENT: The world's most beloved fairy, Tinker Bell, poses with her friend Terence inside Pixie Hollow at the Magic Kingdom park. The pair star in the new motion picture "Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure." Terence is the newest character that Disney Parks guests can greet in Pixie Hollow at the Magic Kingdom in Florida and Disneyland park in California.
TIANA TRANSFORMATION: A sprinkle of pixie dust and a little help from the fairy godmother is all it takes for little princesses to feel like the newest Disney princess, Princess Tiana, at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
DISNEY'S NEWEST PRINCESS: A host of Disney and Disney-Pixar characters welcomed Princess Tiana Oct. 26, 2009 following her horse-drawn carriage ride to Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom. After a jubilant procession featuring dancers and musicians, Princess Tiana, featured in the Walt Disney Pictures' animated film "The Princess and the Frog," starred in the premiere performance of "Tiana's Showboat Jubilee!" -- a live musical production that takes place on board the theme park's "Liberty Belle" riverboat.
ZOOMING IN: Christopher Pond, ESPN Emerging Technology engineer, demonstrates the ESPN Snap Zoom technology as part of the ESPN Innovation Lab at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex (soon to be renamed the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex). The freeze-frame application brings the fan closer to the play by zooming in an area of interest and providing insight to a current action on the field.

FLAVORS OF AFRICA, INDIA: As part of the Kidani Village expansion of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, diners are treated to a new restaurant - Sanaa. The menu in the 150-seat, family-oriented restaurant reflects the art of African cooking with Indian flavors.
