(JULY 4, 2007):  U.S. Air Force fighter jets streak through the central Florida skies July 4, 2007 as patriotic streamers rain and pyrotechnics explode at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The celebration at the Magic Kingdom was part of a Fourth of July ceremony in which United States citizenship became a dream-come-true for 1,000 immigrants. Highlighting the swearing-in ceremony: performances by Grammy Award-winner Gloria Estefan, Country Music Association award-winner Lee Greenwood; a keynote address by U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla.) and the Oath of Allegiance presided over by Emilio Gonzalez, Director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.  The event was a first for the Magic Kingdom, with thousands of park guests joining in the star-spangled celebration.
