(JULY 4, 2007): Maurice Victor, from Haiti, takes the Oath of Allegiance as he is sworn in as an American citizen July 4, 2007 at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Victor was among 1,000 immigrants sworn in at Walt Disney World Resort by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Ceremony highlights included a performance by Cuban-born singer Gloria Estefan and country music artist Lee Greenwood; a keynote address by U.S. Sen. Mel Martinez (R-Fla.) and the Oath of Allegiance presided over by Emilio Gonzalez, Director of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
